As an innovative startup, Greenomy faced the critical challenge of building their online presence from scratch. To drive leads and establish authority, they needed to dominate organic search visibility across competitive European markets, including the UK, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany, and France.

Brick Digital conducted a comprehensive SEO audit, uncovering issues with internal linking, page layout, and optimisation, particularly within navigation, page layout and content structure. To address this, we outlined an Organic search strategy, including the introduction of hreflang tags to target multi-region markets effectively.

Our Strategy

Through an in-depth SEO audit, we uncovered a powerful opportunity: targeting a niche cluster of high-impact keywords like ‘ESG Reporting Software’ alongside top-of-the-funnel legislation terms. These insights laid the foundation for a tailored strategy to propel Greenomy’s visibility.

Due to being a new startup, Greenomy had a very small backlink profile. So our growth strategy was to focus our efforts on their homepage by optimising it for the keyword cluster around ESG Reporting Software / Solutions / Platform / Services search terms, then launching an aggressive link-building campaign to push the rankings higher.

Our Approach

We created a monthly roadmap based on our SEO audit findings, prioritising tasks to maximise organic traffic growth.

Our SEO audit also included recommendations to improve the content, layout, lifestyle images, top navigation and calls to action to improve both SEO and User Experience in order to increase conversion.

We provided hreflang tags to address duplicate content issues and ensure effective targeting of multiple regions. Additionally, we keyword clustered over 60 top-of-funnel article concepts for the Greenomy team to write, with the aim of attracting and engaging their target audience earlier in their conversion journey.

While delays in implementing the onsite recommendations posed challenges, we pivoted to focus on quick wins, ensuring immediate traffic growth and securing rankings for high-value terms.
