How a targeted SEO strategy helped Bell Container bounce back from ranking declines and dominate high-intent container search terms.
The Scope
Bell Container wanted to recover from a sharp decline in rankings and website traffic that had impacted enquiries. They needed a strategy to restore visibility for high-value search terms related to container hire and sales, improve performance in the South East region, and re-establish their position as one of the UK’s most trusted container suppliers.
We began with a detailed SEO audit to understand why Bell’s rankings had declined and where the biggest opportunities existed. After analysing keyword data and competitor activity, we identified that the most commercially valuable searches were for “containers for sale” and “containers for hire”.
With clear priorities in place, we developed a six-month SEO roadmap designed to rebuild rankings and drive consistent leads.
Technical foundation: Fixed site errors and improved crawlability to strengthen Google’s confidence in the site.
Content structure: Created new service and location pages targeting high-demand areas across the South East.
Conversion focus: Worked closely with Bell’s developer to improve site speed, mobile usability and calls to action, turning more visitors into enquiries.
Link building: Secured authoritative backlinks to support ranking growth for container hire and sales keywords.
This collaborative approach allowed us to deliver rapid improvements while keeping Bell’s team fully engaged throughout.
