
Driving Global SEO Growth for Wood Wall Panels
The Scope
The Wood Veneer Hub approached Brick Digital to strengthen their visibility in an increasingly competitive home interiors market. Having pivoted early from high end wood veneers to wood wall panelling, they needed an SEO strategy that could support rapid category growth, new product ranges, and eventually international expansion.
The aim was to secure top-of-page rankings for high-intent search terms while opening new verticals and launching their US domain with immediate impact.
Our strategy began with a full scale SEO audit, revealing opportunities to grow authority through content depth, landing page optimisation, and niche relevant backlinks. Rather than relying solely on product keywords, we built keyword clusters around intent led themes, including rooms, materials, styles, installation and outdoor use cases. This approach was supported with strategic link building from interior design publishers to strengthen topical authority. For international growth, we implemented hreflang tagging to transfer trust signals from the established .co.uk site to the new .com domain, accelerating early rankings in the US Google search results.
We executed the campaign through a structured, multi-phase roadmap. First, we developed optimised landing pages for new product categories including Outdoor Wall Panels and Japanese Wall Panels, supported by indepth blog content answering real consumer questions around installation, upkeep and design choices. To expand organic reach beyond the limited product range, we created additional landing page verticals, from room types and interior styles to material finishes and functional benefits. These were all internally linked to strengthen topical relevance.
We also built a comprehensive Knowledge Hub containing guides on both wall panels and veneers, designed to support users at every research stage and to attract backlinks from wood veneering enthusiast communities.
Alongside content and onsite improvements, we ran targeted linkbuilding campaigns within interior design and lifestyle niches, while leaning into the brand’s heritage in real wood veneers to secure mentions and recommendations.
Finally, for the US launch, we mirrored the UK structure on the .com site and applied hreflang annotations to boost early credibility, ensuring the new domain ranked competitively from day one.
