The Project
LDMotorcycles.co.uk strive to bring you somewhere you can browse, the best in motorcycle clothing for the urban rider you are, simply and quickly at any time on any device. As a online-only provider of clothing & accessories we like to be as transparent and easy to reach as you’d expect from being in a shop, which is why you can get in contact with us through all our socials, over the phone, email, and even WhatsApp if you’re shopping on the go. Our office & distribution space is based in Watford, but we don’t currently have a walk/ride in collection option.
THE SCOPE
LDMotorcycles were looking to increase sales on their new website using paid advertising and organic search traffic. They understood the long-term benefit that a well optimised online presence would bring them in future, along with a near-term increase in revenues.

THE APPROACH
As the UK motorcycle online retail sector is highly competitive we worked with LDMotorcycles to understand their current customer profile, the buying habits and influencing factors of their customer journey. This helped us to craft an effective approach to achieving their goals, aiding our choice of profitable keywords, landing pages optimisation and competitor analysis.
TAKING ACTION
Organic SEO LDMotorcycles needed a sustainable plan of action that would yield results for years to come, which is why we worked on both their site’s technical optimisation, and their overall blogging content strategy. Alongside this we developed opportunities for the team to comment on general industry topics through guest posting on relevant sites gaining powerful links back to their site.
Paid Advertising Google Shopping ads were the best option to produce the near term return that the team wanted as they allowed LDMotorcycles’ products to stand toe-to-toe with their competitors. With such a strongly price led market in motorcycle clothing, we worked to target the most profitable customer profiles and locations while maintaining a cost-per-click that returned healthy profits and new customers.
